Purpose Meets Process

I’m Umazi—an interior designer, short-term rental host, and Swahili woodcarver. I design spaces the way you’d curate a feeling—with care, clarity, and intention. Every project begins with the question: how should this space feel?

As an STR host myself, I understand the emotional and functional needs of guests—and the desire every host has to create a space that feels unforgettable. My work goes beyond aesthetics to create environments that soothe the nervous system, invite presence, and offer beauty as restoration.
